First Class Resources for Grades 4-8
Student User IDs:
Student's First Initial + Last name + Graduating Class + SJ Example: Mary Smith in 8th Grade would log in as msmith12sj (not case sensitive)
Student Passwords:
Students will use the same passwords that they use to log into the network in the school computer lab. These passwords are case sensitive. If a password has been shared or is no longer secure for any reason, student is to immediately tell a teacher.
How to Log in to First Class
There are two ways First Class can be used to access student e-mail and file storage from home.
1. Download and Install to Your Computer (Recommended) Here's how:

2. Visit the First Class Log In Page and enter the User ID and Password here:
How to Use File Storage
Use to access school documents at from any internet connected computer. This stores the file for the student. It doesn not share the file with anyone else. (First Class Conferences serve that purpose.)
1. Log in to First Class
2. Click the File Storage icon on the Desktop
3. A new Window Opens. Minimize the desktop window (behind the new window) by clicking the "_" symbol in the upper right corner of that window:
4. Find the file you wish to store. The one in our example is on the computer's desktop. Drag the file's icon to the File Storage area as shown.
